AUTHENTIC FAITH

We see a church filled with authentic followers of Christ. We aren't into surface-level faith. We are striving for something deeper than traditional religion. We long to see authentic life change, real conversations about where we struggle and honest answers to life's hardest questions. We hope to be known as real people with real faith in the midst of real struggles.

DIVERSE COMMUNITY

We envision a faith community as diverse (culturally, economically, generationally and educationally) as the area it’s called to reach. Our goal is to reach the people of Portsmouth with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is responsible for bringing together cultures, classes, and even enemies throughout human history. The church is (and should be) one of the most dynamic communities on the planet. 

RADICAL GENEROSITY

Our goal is to be a church known for it's generosity. That starts with our people. We desire to see God build a spirit of generosity that is contagious. We don't dream about building elaborate cathedrals; we dream about being the church that gives to the community in big ways. We have a few local charities we are partnering with now that we'd like to invest in big ways down the road. We hope to help people see that resources are tools to be used for good in the community.
