02.03.2025: Restore Church is searching for a full time Worship Pastor. This position is responsible for setting the tone and the atmosphere for worship at the beginning of services so that people can encounter the Holy Spirit and receive the Word.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading Worship experiences (vocally).

  • Proficient musicianship abilities.

  • Experience leading teams or small groups.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading worship on Sundays.

  • Leading and developing teams in the church.

  • Coordinating events with church staff.

  • Hosting auditions and rehearsals.

  • Creating community with volunteers.

  • Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships

  • Direct-Line Reports to Senior Pastor

  • Two Part Time employees report to Worship Pastor

 

Employment Status

  • Full Time

  • Sunday – Thursday

COMPENSATION

  • $60,000-$65,000 depending on experience

  • Four weeks of paid vacation per year after 6 months of employment

  • Generous 403b contribution from the church after 1 year of employment

  • Healthcare stipend after 1 year of employment

WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH:

JAMES

Our current Worship Leader joined us as a worship team intern in 2021. He’s teachable and gifted. He primarily drums during the Sunday services, but occasionally plays guitar and sings as well. He runs his own business and can’t commit more than 2 days per week to the position, which is why he prefers to remain part-time and help however needed. He handles team communication and scheduling currently. He would report directly to the new Worship Pastor.

KERENA

Our Lead Vocalist joined us as a worship team intern in 2023. She and James work together to put together the songs and arrangements. She also works with the vocalists on the team at practice. She’s also part-time. She would report directly to the new Worship Pastor.

PASTOR MARC

Pastor Marc founded Restore Church in 2016. He’s been a pastor since 2008. He’s passionate about solid Bible preaching and investing in the sons and daughters of this house. He and his wife are 757 locals who have a desire to see a move of God in Hampton Roads. The Worship Pastor will report directly to Pastor Marc.
